1. ‘Bigg Boss: Season 9’ on Colors

And ever since the promos of the upcoming season have started doing rounds, the viewers simply cannot wait enough. After much speculation about who will be locked inside the house and who will not, the makers of the show seem to be gearing up for the release, which is slated to start from next month. And if the benefactor doesn’t provide enough entertainment, megastar Salman Khan will add to the regular dose of entertainment. It definitely gets bigger and better every time.
2. Tigmanshu Dhulia to make a cameo in Ekta Kapoor’s show
The amazing moviemaker may have ventured into the TV arena but again, through a cameo in Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. On Ekta’s insistence, he came on the ship. His remaining short exposure came the previous year as Home Minister Bharat Chowdhary in Amitabh Bachchan’s fiction debut War. The Gangs of Wasseypur director might be up for grabs himself in an episode of the brand new show, in which a tormented actor will attempt to woo him at a party.
3. On Air with AIB
Comedy organization All India Bakchod (AIB) is ‘extremely excited’ about its ‘most ambitious’ project. The Comedy Collective will launch a news comedy series on Star Network in October. A great way to include the 20-episode show, 10 in English and 10 in Hindi, will be released first on Hotstar, with weekend airings on Star World and Star Plus.
4. Zindagi Pe Baarat Series
The renowned channel enters the comic genre with this 3 show series, the first one titled Azar Ki Aayegi Baaraat which premiered this week. Featuring some of the best Pakistani actors like Javed Sheikh, Saba Hameed, Bushra Ansari, Shahryar Zaidi and Sameena Ahmed, the eye-catching collection may also have hints of Dolly Ki Aayegi Baaraat and Takke Ki Aayegi Baaraat.
5. ‘Once in a Lifetime: Season 4’
The hugely successful show on Fox Life is back with its new season that promises to be packed with a high dose of entertainment and excitement. This time 4 friends – Karan Kundrra, Sana Saeed, Himarsha Venkatasamy and Natalie Di Lucio will share an interesting adventure exploring Hong Kong. 6. The Stage on Colors Infinity
In an effort to develop the skill of song making in India in English, the display will provide viewers with an exclusive glimpse into the music scene within the country. Display is the first unique production of the channel which was released recently. Hosted by Shibani Dandekar, it will have music composers Vishal Dadlani, Monica Dogra and Ehsaan Noorani as a part of the jury panel. 7. TV adaptation of Rajinder Singh Bedi’s ‘Lajwanti’
The length drama based on a short story by the late producer will begin airing on Zee TV later this month. Lajwanti composed by Rajinder Singh Bedi is presented as a tribute to the revolutionary writer. Known for his Urdu fiction, Bedi was also a Hindi film director, screenplay and talk creator. Set against the backdrop of Partition, the show is loosely based on the love story of Lajwanti and Sunderlal.
8. ‘Comedy Superstar’ on SAB TV
Looks like it’s the year of the laughs! The new stand-up comedy show has Sushmita Sen, Sonu Sood and Shekhar Suman on the judges panel. A search for talent, it will search for outstanding comedians and potential entertainers from across the country. Its USP is the ‘Tongue Twister Challenge’ and the judges solve the riddles and import filmy Dubsmash videos.
9.’The Anupam Kher Show: Season 2′

10. ‘Splitsvilla: Season 8’
The new season of the highly spicier and debatable showdown has replaced Roadies X2 on MTV. The drama, hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singha, also riffs on love, friendship and betrayal. In its mid-season run, the show began with 14 women struggling to find true love.
