story line
The story follows the lives of Sooraj and Sandhya’s child, which puts pressure on their daughter Kanak. His grandmother Bhabho rejects Kanak and looks down on him as she believes that Kanak is to blame for her parents’ death. However, after noticing his love for Kanak, Bhabho takes him in as a family member. Kanak eventually marries Uma Shankar, a mythical but good-hearted person. He is a staunch follower of the ideals set by his haughty and selfish aunt, Nanda Devi.
Kanak Uma embarks on a journey with Shankar to teach him the most important lesson in life. Humanity, while being scolded by Palomi and constantly injured by Masi Sa, and later, her nasty son, Aditya.

Production
This sequel of Diya Aur Baati Hum was in seclusion before it went off air. artist Neelu Vaghela, who plays Santosh, released the poster of the series in February 2017. You are the sun in the evening, Piyaji, The banner of the serial was taken from the title track of Diya Aur Baati Hum.
