The new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Andor series has been released, and it’s an action-packed look at the Disney Plus show. The trailer also announced a September 21 release date for the premiere of episode 3.
The new film series stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor and is a prequel to the 2016 film “Rogue One”. Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw also star, and Forest Whitaker reprises his part of Saw Gerrera. Luna is executive producing the film series, which was created by “Rogue One” co-writer Tony Gilroy, who also wrote 5 episodes of the thriller series, including the pilot.
Luna detailed the new trailer during an appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” where she talked about the scope of the new film series. “It’s a little bit unique, because we know what Cassian is capable of, but we’re going to meet him when he doesn’t know he’s capable of it,” Luna said. Star Wars Endor Official Trailer Released
We got our first look at Endor during Disney’s Investors Day awarding in December 2020. The short teaser showed a behind-the-scenes look at pre-production of the series and announced the lead cast of the series. We don’t get our first full-length trailer until May 2023. The short trailer teased some of the places Endor and his Rebel teammates will be going, without giving away too many plot details or who the show’s big bad will be.

story line
Andor is a prequel to Rogue One and is set 5 years before Titanic’s fateful encounter with Jyn Erso. The first season will trace Andor’s first year as a man of rebellion, charting how he goes from a rookie to a hardened freedom fighter.
Interviews with the writers of the series have revealed much about the structure of the film series. The first few episodes will focus on Endor’s backstory, showing how his homeworld was destroyed by the Galactic Empire and how future rebels became outcasts on an alien world, fueling their hatred of tyrants .
Their receiving home will become the basis of our entire first season, and we see the place becoming fancier, show runner Tony Gilroy told Vanity Fair. “Then we see another planet that’s completely taken apart in a colonial way. The Empire is expanding rapidly. They’re wiping out anyone who gets in their way.
From there, the series would go on to show how Endor became a figurehead of the Rebel Alliance, introducing the rest of the series’ ensemble cast. Talking about the film series, Luna said that the series would comment on change and rebellion.
