The second installment of the web series Scam Charter is called ‘Scam 2003 The Telly Story’ and is an aspect of the story of the famous stamp paper scam.
Hansal Mehta is also the producer of this web series season 2, while the Scam 2003 series will be directed by Tushar Hiranandani, whose first directorial venture was ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. The series is based on the book ‘Reporter’s Diary’ by journalist Sanjay Singh, who broke the story of the web series Scam 2003. Hansal Mehta took to social media to announce the start of shoot for Scam 2003 Season 2 in April. Later, he also announced that Gagan Dev would be playing the character of Riyar Abdul Karim Telgi. Gagan is a theater artist with 15 years of knowledge, apart from theater he has also worked in ‘A Suitable Boy’ and ‘Sonchiriya’.
With the details of the star cast and other crew persons still under wraps, we find out that Marathi writer Kiran Yagyopaveet is co-writing the Scam 2003 series with reporter Sanjay Singh. Scam 2003 News reporter Sanjay Singh’s book will be based on the reporter’s diary.
