Nimki Mukhiya is an Indian drama TV series that premiered on 28 August 2017 on Star Bharat. Produced by Zama Habib, it stars Bhumika Gurung and Abhishek Sharma. A sequel series, Nimki Vidhayak starring Bhumika Gurung followed the series back from 10 August 2019 to 1 February 2020.

story line
“Nimki Chief” Star is a comedy and drama daily soap serial on Bharat channel. This serial is produced by Zama Habib under the poster of Qissago Telefilms. The lead cast features Bhumika Gurung as Nimki Singh aka Namkeen Kumari, Abhishek Sharma as Babbu Singhan Indranil Sengupta as Abhimanyu Rai and others.
The story is based on a village in Bihar that has been ruled by upper caste men for many years. Women here are more like housewives. Bhumika Gurung (Nimki) will fight the case.
Tetar did not favor this and planned on Nimki’s case. Sweety realizes Abhimanyu’s feelings for Nimki and hence decides to leave her and remarry Rituraj, when Rituraj reads why Sweety married him, he bleeds Sweety and rapes her Did. Tuni learns that Rituraj rapes Sweety on a daily basis, but keeps quiet to reunite Abhimanyu and Nimki. Nimki realizes that she never loved Babbu, it was just an appeal rather she started loving Abhimanyu.

Once, when I was traveling in Bihar, I saw a board which read ‘head husband’ And below in small letters was the name of his wife. When I tried to find the lot, I saw that the woman had become Mukhiya (village head) due to uneasiness, but she is still engaged in her household work while her husband is in charge of his official work. To me it was a criminal act as they were abusing the power given to them. I am interested in writing a story on how we humans are sometimes unwilling to embrace power or inevitability.
