Balaji Telefilms bankrolled the show, which was financed by Ekta Kapoor. Jodhaa Akbar serial is an epic drama about how the marriage policy drives the love of Jodhabai and Akbar to the point where it changes the destiny of India. The play depicts the struggles of the era as well as Mughal-Rajput relations and how Jodha and Akbar face hardships and hardships in their quest to live together.
