Though Anubhav Sinha hasn’t revealed much about the story of the film, but talking about the film, he said that it has a theme which he created from a terrifying idea in his mind. What started with a small idea soon transformed into a screenplay, prompting him to make the film on a larger canvas.
The film is the third collaboration between Sinha’s production house Banaras Media Works and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series after Taapsee starrer Thappad and the recently released Anek, starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead.
Bhushan Kumar, joint producer of Bheed, says, “We have finally announced the release date of one of the most amazing films of 2022. Anubhav is a filmmaker who wants his distinct voice to be part of the film. Reaching length and breadth. The whole country. ‘Bheed’ is that film, that story that has the power to make everyone speak in one voice.

The makers of the film have already revealed its release date and it is confirmed that the film will have a cinema release. 24 March 2023, It will directly compete with Ajay Devan’s much-anticipated Drishyam 2, the sequel to his 2015 crime drama Drishyam, which itself is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film starring Mollywood superstar Mohanlal.
