As per reports, the makers have completed the pre-production work and the film will go on floors from April 22 in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, as we have told you earlier. According to a recent interview with producer Bhushan Kumar, Ranbir will be seen in a violent avatar in the picture. The announcement date of the film is counted as 11th August 2023.

Nevertheless, with the makers of Animal recently announcing that they have roped in South beauty Rashmika Mandanna for the lead role, the Pushpa fame artiste has now got three Bollywood pictures in her kitty. She will debut with Sidharth Malhotra starrer Mission Majnu and will next be seen in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye.
The reason Rashmika was chosen to act is because the makers wanted a new pairing and found Rashmika fit for the role Apart from Rashmika and Ranbir, the Reddy directorial also stars veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in lead roles.
